About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support global procurement activity, with a focus on Corporate Services and other indirect categories
- Partner with Finance, Security, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to drive cost efficiency, supplier performance, value creation, and compliance
- Administer and lead competitive bidding processes, including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, bid analysis, tenders, and risk evaluations
- Coordinate preparation of RFPs and Statements of Work
- Lead cross-functional teams through competitive bidding processes
- Direct supplier negotiations and evaluate and select suppliers according to company policies
- Strategically source services and goods to ensure uninterrupted supply
- Negotiate contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks
- Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel as applicable
- Analyze trends and make sourcing decisions
- Participate in supplier meetings to rectify issues and ensure requirements and expectations are understood and met
- Perform work according to department KPI goals and other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional procurement experience
- Mandatory expertise in corporate services, HR services, and professional services procurement
- Strong understanding of associated service categories
- Proven expertise in procurement processes, negotiation, vendor management, and contract negotiation
- Solid knowledge of business and third-party services purchasing
- Commercial focus on project-based contracts and service requirements
- Experience in a high-performance, complex organizational environment with multiple systems and stakeholders
- Knowledge of compliance, safety, quality, and environmental management
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Planning, project management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong computer proficiency, including advanced Excel and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with the ZIP procurement system is preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply and provide proof of employment eligibility
