Instructional Designer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in learning needs analysis and high-level course design with the Product Manager and SME.
- Map learning outcomes for the whole course and for each module and lesson.
- Translate SME materials into clear, learner-friendly educational content.
- Design practice exercises and learning aids.
- Collaborate with the production team to create visual content.
- Audit existing courses for cognitive load, difficulty, and alignment with goals.
- Work with student feedback and SME recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Adapt course materials for different target audiences (onboarding, certification, etc.).
- Maintain a backlog of improvements and keep course documentation up to date.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role.
- Proven experience working with technical topics (software engineering, data science, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of digital learning design frameworks and principles.
- Ability to develop various educational content forms (long reads, video, assessments).
- Proficiency in modern tools such as Figma, HeyGen, and Supademo.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT to support content creation, research, and instructional design, while applying appropriate critical review and quality control.
- High level of English proficiency.
