About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Footage logging and assembly. Ingest, log, and assemble footage with clean organization and seamless integration into the editing workflow.
- Proxy prep. Prepare proxy files that keep the edit pipeline fast and reviewable at every stage.
- Asset sourcing. Find and pull music, sound effects, and visual effects references that elevate the final product — without waiting to be handed a brief.
- File management. Own the organization of the post-production workspace. Clean folder structures, consistent naming, no lost assets.
- Client revision queue. Address incoming edit requests accurately and on time, coordinating with the Video Editor and Producer on anything that needs escalation.
- Team coordination. Stay in sync with the Video Editor, Video Producer, and Studio Director — proactive updates, no surprises.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of video editing experience, preferably in eCommerce or advertising
- Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite — Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and beyond
- Strong grasp of editing principles, technique, and theory — not just button knowledge
- Fluent in English (US) with clear written and verbal communication
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects under strict deadlines without dropping quality
- Available PST 9 AM–5 PM for real-time collaboration with the in-house team
