Architect

• Develop a strong understanding of, and proficiency with, the Neara software platform in order to translate its functionality and value to customers.
• Work directly and closely with customers, including meaningful time on-site with customers to:
• Drive and embed the use of the Neara platform by customers, including enabling the customer’s ability to proficiently use the platform to ensure customer ease of adoption and use throughout their organisation.
• Ensure that Neara solutions adopted by customers are being delivered as contractually scoped and are delivering on identified business outcomes.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer strategic imperatives and business goals in order to provide clear guidance on where Neara solutions can enable or enhance.
• Serve as a trusted commercial and technical advisor to customers, ensuring Neara solutions are fully embedded within their business, including with respect to workflow or change management requirements that sit outside the core Neara scope.
• Collaborate with customers to define and deliver business cases and related ROI metrics, in support of the value delivered by Neara solutions, including established cadences around internal reporting and value delivery reviews.
• Identify opportunities for customers to expand their use and adoption of the Neara platform into other solutions through the identification of additional business drivers or pain points that Neara can help solve.
• Identify and actively engage a broad stakeholder audience within customers to ensure close and trusted relationships, built on credibility, authenticity and transparency.
• Collaborate closely with Neara Sales and Deployment teams to drive customer happiness, platform adoption, growth, and consistent and measurable adoption and value demonstration frameworks.
• Design and deliver focused training sessions and workshops aligned with customer goals and workflows
• Identify emerging client needs and strategic opportunities, and work closely with Neara Sales and Deployment teams to inform customer account strategies and growth opportunities.

Customer Value Architect

Engineer

• Actively use the Neara SDK and our platform's APIs to develop custom solutions that extend the platform's functionality.
• Building custom, high-impact features using the Neara SDK, which will involve writing code in Typescript/Javascript and our platform's declarative scripting language to automate project changes, integrate real-time third-party data, and manipulate the network model.
• Developing custom visualizations, calculations, and advanced data analysis features.
• Creating tailored user interface elements to simplify and automate complex user workflows.
• Building robust integrations using our platform's APIs to synchronize project data with external enterprise systems.
• Serve as the trusted deep technical advisor to customers, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable technical designs and implementation strategies.
• Lead targeted, hands-on training and workshops focused on the Neara SDK, API, and best practices for custom solution development, ensuring customers can maintain and evolve the solutions you build.
• Work closely with adjacent teams to identify emerging customer needs and strategic opportunities for leveraging custom development to fuel account growth.

Forward Deployed Engineer

SDET

• Build & Lead Test Automation
• Design, build, and own Neara’s automated testing framework for acceptance and integration testing, ensuring coverage across UI, API, and backend layers.
• Select and implement modern test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress), integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Translate product test plans into efficient, maintainable automation scripts that enhance release reliability and developer confidence.
• Define the testing architecture, infrastructure, and documentation that will scale with the product and the business.
• Engineer for Quality & Velocity
• Embed quality early in the development lifecycle by collaborating closely with engineers and product managers.
• Analyse results, identify root causes, and drive the resolution of quality issues through proactive test design.
• Build quality metrics and dashboards that clearly communicate release readiness and product health.
• Balance automation with smart manual testing and designing efficient processes for areas that require human validation.
• Run and champion “Test Parties” to engage teams in collective quality ownership.
• Shape the Future of QA at Neara
• Establish and scale the company’s QA automation function from the ground up: Defining the tools, processes, and standards that will guide quality for years to come.
• Continuously evolve QA practices to reduce customer-facing bugs, prevent regressions, and validate the accuracy of complex calculations in a sophisticated SaaS environment.
• Serve as Neara’s trusted quality advisor, ensuring that testing strategies align with business outcomes and product goals.
• Drive a measurable increase in release confidence and a reduction in manual testing overhead through automation coverage.
