About the role

  • Drive growth of digital court reporting business within government and legal sectors
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and execute tailored business development strategy
  • Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities with existing and new clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in courts, government agencies, and law firms
  • Implement robust follow-up system to ensure timely responses and continuous engagement
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and industry shifts
  • Own business development process from initial contact through proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract closure
  • Act as liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless transition to service delivery
  • Follow established sales process and consistently utilize CRM to document prospect interaction
  • Establish and manage a business development budget in conjunction with company leadership

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or client relationship management, preferably within a B2B service industry or government contracting
  • Proven track record of establishing and nurturing client relationships, preferably within government or legal sectors
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage multiple proposal and capture efforts simultaneously
  • Autonomy and self-driven attitude, with ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • High level of persistence and dedication to achieving goals
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Based in Washington, DC to work out of our headquarters office
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field a plus
