About the role
- Maintain the communication plan, with a schedule based on product deliveries.
- Research trends and best practices in technical documentation.
- Maintain technical documentation templates.

- Create tracking charts and presentations showcasing the area’s results.
- Maintain a Content and Style Guide for the area.
- Develop content for technical documentation.
- Support the creation of content focused on user experience.
- Collaborate with UX designers to ensure the quality of text.
- Research and maintain information architecture templates.
- Provide clear instructions for the target audience.
- Understand and simplify software complexities.
- Measure engagement on platforms such as Google Analytics.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Maintain contact with Product, Development, Marketing, Sales, UX teams, etc.
- Manage translations of manuals and other documents.
Requirements
- Maintain the communication plan, with a schedule based on product deliveries, under the guidance of a senior analyst.
- Research trends and best practices in technical documentation.
- Maintain technical documentation templates, considering the product and the personas that consume the content.
- Communicate the content strategy to technical writers.
- Monitor the area’s deliveries according to the strategic planning schedule.
- Create monitoring charts and presentations with the area’s results.
- Maintain a Content and Style Guide for the area, together with the team.
- Develop content for the following types of technical documentation: system documentation and release notes/technical bulletins; user manuals and training booklets/scripts; installation and deployment guides; and operations manuals.
- Support content development focused on user experience (microcopy, onboarding and conversational flows for chatbots).
- Work in partnership with UX designers to ensure application text is pleasant and intuitive.
- Research, create and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational standards.
- Provide clear instructions or information to the target audience across all documentation artifacts.
- Understand and investigate software complexities and simplify them through textual resources.
- Measure engagement on platforms such as Google Analytics.
- Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from different sources—such as surveys, usability tests and user feedback—under the supervision of a senior analyst.
- Ensure direct contact with Product, Development, Marketing, Sales, UX teams, etc., to align on new solutions.
- Manage/perform translations of user manuals, resources, release notes/technical bulletins and other departmental documents.
- Support subject-matter experts in building technical product training.
- It is a plus to be familiar with Confluence.
- Powtoon.
- Office 365.
- Storytelling techniques.
- Collaborative writing.
- Adobe Suite.
- Design.
- Content management software or CMS (e.g., MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Help & Manual, and XML editors).
