About the role
- Develop new business opportunities with prospects outside current customer base and new restaurant concepts
- Call on clients in the field on a regular (daily) basis and be in the field to visit clients and prospects
- Develop sales strategy to win business; manage, track and report activities in Salesforce.com
- Manage sales process through order booking and transfer account ownership to Account Executive for implementation
- Grow market share through number of new restaurant sites with NCR Voyix Solutions & Payments
- Develop ROI-based solution sales plans and strategic account planning
- Utilize consultative selling to map decision-makers and create penetration strategies
- Design territory plan to maximize incoming orders and meet annual quota objectives
- Input forecasting and account activity in Salesforce; maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities and execute to win
- Gain customer commitment, accelerate sales cycle, and work with influencers to minimize closing issues
- Capitalize on internal and external industry networks to uncover business opportunities and develop business solutions that demonstrate NCR Voyix's value
Requirements
- Experience in Restaurant Industry and/or Technology Sales/Business Development
- Must live in the local sales territory (DFW Metroplex) as you will be in the field on a daily basis to visit clients and prospects
- “Hunger to Win / Hate to Lose” sales mentality; strong "hunter" drive
- Previous successful consulting and/or solution sales environment and/or client management in the restaurant segment
- Demonstrated success in presenting and articulating the value of technology solutions
- In-depth experience and understanding of the hospitality/restaurant market, industry trends and related competition
- Ability to travel to customer sites on day trips within the sales territory (Houston)
- Preferred: Prior experience working in Hospitality/Restaurant Solution sales
- Preferred: Experience with Point-of-Sale, Payment Applications, Above Store, Kitchen Production and Marketing Programs
- Preferred: Knowledge/use of CRM tool - Salesforce.com
