About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, configure, and commission equipment.
Conduct basic and advanced diagnostics of equipment.
Repair, adjust, and change parts/modules based on objective information.
Isolate problems of equipment/system from environmental issues.
Clearly explain service activities to clients.
Report problems and actions taken in a timely and detailed manner.
Take responsibility for problem-solving in compliance with service level agreements with clients.
Provide basic IT support to users at client site.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Intermediate level position requiring knowledge and skills acquired through formal training and/or proven work experience.
Ability to execute established technical service procedures with moderate to no supervision.
Apply scientific knowledge and/or methods to technical problem resolution with attention to detail.
Select appropriate procedures for various common or rare problems.
Represent NCR professionally, solve medium to high complexity problems, manage time effectively, communicate and explain clearly, and escalate more significant issues appropriately.
Execute standardized technical service and customer care routines and procedures.
Installation, configuration, and commissioning of equipment.
Basic and advanced diagnostics of equipment.
Repair, adjustment, and change of parts/modules based on objective information.
Isolate issues of equipment/system from environmental issues (communications, electricity, environment, etc).
Clearly explain service activity scopes to clients.
Timely and detailed reporting of encountered problems and actions taken.
