About the role

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local Zimbabwean regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly closing package.
  • Oversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Manage external and internal audits; ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and governance processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the local finance team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification required: ACCA, CIMA, CA(Z) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or controller role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Zimbabwean financial regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle-Cloud) and advanced Excel capability.
  • Strong understanding of taxation, treasury, and cash management.
  • Experience working in Zimbabwe with strong knowledge of local accounting, tax, and regulatory frameworks.
