About the role

  • Act as a trusted advisor for prospects and customers, leading pre-sales discussions, presentations, and solution discovery around the specific capabilities of the nCino platform
  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with prospects, identify solutions to core business challenges, and communicate the strategic value of the nCino platform convincingly
  • Lead detailed product presentations and demonstrations, confidently address functionality questions, and demonstrate the tangible value of nCino
  • Bring subject-matter expertise in lending, credit, and financial services to every customer interaction
  • Configure the nCino solution based on prospect-specific user stories and technical requirements, tailoring demos to highlight the relevant value
  • Work closely with colleagues in pre-sales, sales, product, partners, and customer success to create a seamless experience for prospects

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the banking or financial services sector, ideally complemented by work in fintech pre-sales or consulting
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with prospects and customers and to navigate complex stakeholder structures with confidence
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to persuade large audiences and senior executives
  • Ability to respond quickly to complex situations, adapt, and succeed in a customer-focused environment
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region (up to 60%)
  • Advantageous but not required: hands-on experience with loan origination platforms or processes
  • Knowledge of credit risk management or regulatory requirements in the banking sector
  • Experience using or configuring Salesforce
