About the role

  • Designs dynamic solutions using declarative and programmatic automation, data integrity, security, and Salesforce and nCino UX tools when configuring or extending nCino, articulating trade-offs and specializing in one area while maintaining deep understanding across multiple domains.
  • Possesses hands-on knowledge of ancillary technologies within the FinServ ecosystem.
  • Proactively helps avoid potential downstream design issues through deep knowledge of the nCino data model, intended functionality, automation touchpoints, and by providing appropriate LOE estimates for out-of-the-box (OotB) versus custom approaches in fit/gap analyses.
  • Oversees the quality of customizations through code reviews.
  • Advises on versioning, deployment, and release management strategy and value with detailed guidance.
  • Demonstrates detailed understanding of integrations and the ability to propose solutions for defects.
  • Provides cross-functional subject-matter expertise.
  • Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot technical issues outside of PDI.
  • Promotes cross-team collaboration with a focus on delivering product configurations for end users.
  • Leverages AI tools and techniques to increase work efficiency and optimize business processes by automating routine tasks to improve accuracy, save time, and minimize errors.
  • Uses AI-driven insights to refine decision-making, enhance customer experience, and boost team productivity, ensuring the application delivers measurable value, drives innovation, and enables smarter ways of working.
  • Keeps up to date with AI developments to drive continuous learning and scalable growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Typically a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years with a Master's or higher degree; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
  • Salesforce App Builder certification or ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire.
  • Salesforce Data, Sharing and Visibility; Development Lifecycle and Deployment; or Integration Architect certification(s), or the ability to obtain two of these within 24 months of hire.
  • Experience with declarative automation and tooling solutions.
  • Experience in data management modeling, querying (SQL, SOQL, SOSL), transformation, and integration using industry-standard middleware tools.
  • Experience with agile project methodology and/or enterprise project lifecycles and associated tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Salesforce CRM core objects.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with Informatica, MuleSoft, and Kafka.
  • Experience with AutoRabit, Copado, SFX.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and Jira.
  • Experience with large financial institutions, particularly with loan origination/servicing systems and enterprise architecture frameworks.
