About the role

  • Identify and engage small business owners and insurance agency principals nationwide to contract through NCC.
  • Initiate and manage outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings to communicate NCC’s value proposition.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with prospects to understand agency goals and align them with NCC’s services.
  • Initiate long-term B2B partnerships with agencies, small business clients, and market influencers.
  • Guide agency owners through the recruiting process and negotiate partnership terms to close.
  • Set expectations and ensure a smooth transition to the contracting team.
  • Stay informed on market changes, product updates, and compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain a targeted prospect pipeline using internal and self-sourced leads.
  • Document and track communication and performance using Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Minimum 2 years in B2B sales, commission-based agent/agency recruiting, or phone-based business development
  • Experience working with CRMs and documenting interactions
  • Strong phone presence and virtual /in-person communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Public speaking and presentation skills to demonstrate our value proposition
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Experience recruiting 1099/commission-based roles (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Life, or ACA insurance products (preferred)
  • Experience recruiting 1099 insurance agents /agencies or working within an FMO/carrier (preferred)
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and digital sourcing tools (preferred)
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus (preferred)
