About the role
- Identify and engage small business owners and insurance agency principals nationwide to contract through NCC.
- Initiate and manage outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings to communicate NCC’s value proposition.
- Conduct discovery sessions with prospects to understand agency goals and align them with NCC’s services.
- Initiate long-term B2B partnerships with agencies, small business clients, and market influencers.
- Guide agency owners through the recruiting process and negotiate partnership terms to close.
- Set expectations and ensure a smooth transition to the contracting team.
- Stay informed on market changes, product updates, and compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain a targeted prospect pipeline using internal and self-sourced leads.
- Document and track communication and performance using Salesforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field
- Minimum 2 years in B2B sales, commission-based agent/agency recruiting, or phone-based business development
- Experience working with CRMs and documenting interactions
- Strong phone presence and virtual /in-person communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Public speaking and presentation skills to demonstrate our value proposition
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Experience recruiting 1099/commission-based roles (preferred)
- Knowledge of Medicare, Life, or ACA insurance products (preferred)
- Experience recruiting 1099 insurance agents /agencies or working within an FMO/carrier (preferred)
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and digital sourcing tools (preferred)
- Bilingual abilities are a plus (preferred)
