- Evaluate security products and solutions against defined criteria
- Review technical documentation, test results, and evidence packs
- Perform structured, repeatable testing within established methodologies
- Produce clear, defensible technical reports
- Learn how formal product evaluation schemes operate and progress towards leading evaluations.
Requirements
- Strong writing and analytical ability
- Logical, evidence-based decision-making
- High attention to detail and confidence challenging inconsistencies
- Ability to read technical material and extract key risks and issues
- Independent working style, professional curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity.
- an ISO 27001 auditor or Lead Auditor
- a QA or validation specialist (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, etc.)
- a functional or acceptance tester
- a junior GRC or assurance consultant
- a pen tester with an affinity for audit
- a technical professional wanting to move into structured evaluation.
- ISO 27001 auditing or risk/assurance work
- QA or validation experience in regulated environments
- Functional or acceptance testing in structured environments
- Understanding of networks or security fundamentals
- Exposure to CAS, CPA, CTAS, CC
- Programming or scripting knowledge.
