About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and process system-related daily tasks with minimal oversight, following documented procedures and policies within stated service standards
  • Perform daily production tasks while meeting quality and quantity requirements
  • Produce daily evidence and documentation of completed work
  • Check evidence and documentation prepared by junior team members
  • Communicate production issues, pending items, and stale items to the Manager or Team Lead
  • Resolve issues independently and report outcomes
  • Lead regularly scheduled team tasks and coordinate team members to complete tasks and documentation
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Anticipate and prioritize changing work demands with the team
  • Identify processing issues and opportunities for control improvements
  • Collaborate with the manager and peers to improve processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree and three (3) years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic understanding of accounting transactions and problem resolution
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals and technical procedures
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to develop advanced Schwab Retirement Technologies software skills through internal training within a reasonable time
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
  • Ability to remain stationary for 75% or more of the time
  • Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 lbs
