About the role

  • Sales Executive's primary purpose is to drive new business growth within the agency.
  • Develop and maintain favorable customer relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Providing their review of existing coverage, risk, and exposure to allow for recommendations, suggestions and proposals of insurance products and risk management solutions that meet customer risk profile's and create customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures that proposed solutions will meet customer's risk tolerance and exposures properly.
  • Develop and execute individual business plans to meet sales and growth goals as assigned by management.
  • Expected to grow their book of business year over year.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and experience (required)
  • 3+ years of successful business to business and personal sales experience (required)
  • Professional Insurance designation or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Advanced knowledge and commitment to continuing education with Property & Casualty middle market insurance products and risk management solutions.
  • Proven relationship building skills to support business development efforts (internal, external, COI)
  • Ability to work with regional banking and insurance teams to achieve mutual business development and retention goals.
  • Requires strong planning, organizational, problem solving and time management skills with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Requires effective verbal and written communication skills plus the ability to develop effective relationships.
  • Must be self-directed and be able to accomplish work with limited supervision and general work direction.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Agency management software solutions.
