About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintains the HRIS databases by entering and verifying new and existing employee job and benefit related information.
- Assists with various components of Health & Welfare administration, Retirement administration and general employment policy inquiries.
- Responsible for addressing a wide range of customer questions in a timely and complete manner.
- Maintains effective customer service skills to conform to service standards and measured goals.
- Review/complete new hire, termination and employee change events in Workday.
- Assists with benefits and retirement plans administration including enrollment, claims processing, billing reconciliation, wire transfers, COBRA administration, coordination with vendors.
- Provides assistance for employee benefits, compensation and employment policy and procedure inquiries by phone or email.
- Payroll Batch processing and Review; biweekly timecard review/support.
- Participates and coordinates special annual assignments as necessary.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows products, specifically Excel and Word.
- Requires strong organizational and time management skills.
- Multi-state knowledge of laws, regulatory requirements and compliance rules.
- Knowledge of Company policies/procedures and benefit packages or ability to learn.
