About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintains the HRIS databases by entering and verifying new and existing employee job and benefit related information.
  • Assists with various components of Health & Welfare administration, Retirement administration and general employment policy inquiries.
  • Responsible for addressing a wide range of customer questions in a timely and complete manner.
  • Maintains effective customer service skills to conform to service standards and measured goals.
  • Review/complete new hire, termination and employee change events in Workday.
  • Assists with benefits and retirement plans administration including enrollment, claims processing, billing reconciliation, wire transfers, COBRA administration, coordination with vendors.
  • Provides assistance for employee benefits, compensation and employment policy and procedure inquiries by phone or email.
  • Payroll Batch processing and Review; biweekly timecard review/support.
  • Participates and coordinates special annual assignments as necessary.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years related experience
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows products, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Multi-state knowledge of laws, regulatory requirements and compliance rules.
  • Knowledge of Company policies/procedures and benefit packages or ability to learn.
