About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and ensuring accuracy and compliance for loans across the bank’s lines of business.
  • Develops and influences documentation policy along with the department manager.
  • Utilize advanced technical expertise in complex loan documentation and compliance.
  • Analyze information, comprehend complex loan documentation and structure including swaps, participations, syndications and letters of credit.
  • Work with General Counsel and external counsel to create appropriate documentation language.
  • Lead development and testing of enhancements and upgrades to documentation and origination systems providing guidance to all levels of employees.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend complex commercial loan structure, loan policy, regulations, and law;
  • Analyze requests and data required;
  • Identify and communicate risks.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) required.
  • Strong reading and comprehension skills required.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.
  • Accounting skills preferred.
