About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop mobile applications for Android and iOS
Ensure applications meet accessibility, localization, and offline requirements
Assist with software updates and software release roll-outs
Integrate advanced mobile technologies to create cutting-edge user experiences and functionalities
Conduct code reviews and routine maintenance to optimize application performance and maintain development standards
Implement comprehensive testing with the Quality Assurance team
Research current mobile technology trends
Write and maintain technical documentation, including requirements and test results
Provide post-launch support and monitor application performance
Incorporate user feedback to continuously improve products
Participate in peer code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
Work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary
Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–7 years of relevant work experience
Experience designing and developing Android and iOS applications
Knowledge of Apple iOS
Experience with GitHub
Knowledge of mobile applications and mobile technologies
Ability to meet accessibility, localization, and offline requirements
Experience with software updates and release roll-outs
Experience with code reviews, routine maintenance, and application performance optimization
Experience implementing comprehensive software testing with Quality Assurance teams
Ability to research and apply current mobile technology trends
Ability to write and maintain technical documentation
Ability to provide post-launch support and incorporate user feedback
Ability to work nights and weekends on variable schedules
Bachelor's Degree is preferred; Comcast may consider coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience instead
