About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own MachineQ’s Computer Vision deployment strategy
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale camera and vision intelligence implementations
- Plan project architecture, manage resources, coordinate field operations, move hardware, execute installations, report status, forecast capacity, control quality, close projects, and provide post-install support
- Manage project scoping, design review, and planning from pre-sale customer engagement through first truck in field
- Oversee day-to-day field operations, schedule adherence, risks, escalations, and vendor performance
- Maintain and expand third-party installation partner relationships
- Develop training enablement materials for technicians, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary interface across customers, internal teams, vendors, and solution partners
- Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, metrics, and reporting
- Partner with Product and Engineering on customer discovery, field research, design, implementation, usability insights, and solution improvements
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Work nights and weekends with variable schedules as necessary
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience managing complex, multi-site deployments involving wired and wireless technology infrastructure, networking, and camera systems
- Experience overseeing vendors and field installation teams
- Expert knowledge of IP and analog camera systems, ONVIF standards, video encoders/decoders, and cloud VMS platforms
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, subnets, VPNs, PoE, firewalls, QoS, video bandwidth considerations, and AI/ML
- Familiarity with NVR/DVR/NAS and camera hardware ecosystems
- Proven field deployment leadership experience, from site surveys through full rollouts
- Experience with system design validation, including camera placement, cabling, coverage, field of view, and lighting
- Experience managing low-voltage contractors, electricians, and installation vendors
- Experience with state/local licensing requirements and compliance for security/alarm and low-voltage camera installations highly preferred
- Domain experience in retail, QSR, hospitality, or similar distributed multi-location environments highly preferred
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers, teammates, and leadership
- Autonomous, self-starter approach with critical thinking and superb attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and solve problems in a rapidly changing, ambiguous environment
- Must be able to work nights and weekends with variable schedules as necessary
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; Comcast may consider coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience instead
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience listed in the qualifications
