About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will be part of a team working on a Network OSS delivery platform in a fast-paced environment powering Comcast Business Service Assurance IT.
You will be responsible for hands-on design, development, and providing proof-of-concept solutions to implement Service Assurance solutions powering Business Operations users on a Tier1 Network Operations Manager platform.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have skills: Distributed systems design (multi-tier deployments, service decomposition) and good understanding of TMF API.
Ability to articulate complex solutions with simple ways and have e2e accountability working with IT and Business.
API design and architecture – UML, flow and sequence diagrams.
AI tooling fluency (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT for dev workflows).
Mentoring and conducting code reviews.
Nice to have skills: Enterprise Java (Java 17+, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Boot).
RESTful API design and governance at scale – microservices.
Angular + TypeScript, Jest, ReactJS, Redux.
Relational database architecture (Oracle RAC, connection pooling, JNDI).
Authentication & authorization architecture (OAuth2/JWT, LDAP, SSO/SiteMinder).
Secrets management (HashiCorp/OpenBao Vault, cert-based auth).
Technical roadmap ownership and execution.
Hands on knowledge working with Spec-driven development methodology.
Performance engineering (JVM tuning, Oracle query plans, APM tooling).
Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS - migration readiness).
SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management.
Spec-driven architecture.
Building custom AI agents / RAG pipelines.
Security scanning (Snyk).
Container/Kubernetes architecture.
Python.
