About the role

  • Responsible for the sale of Comcast Commercial Internet, Video and Voice based services to mid-size and large businesses
  • Creates and delivers face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services
  • Sells to exceed departmental financial and unit targets and generates new leads through prospecting activities
  • Develops sales territory, cultivates local partnerships and organizational affiliations
  • Promotes and positions the Comcast brand within the territory
  • Maintains and builds customer relationships to drive retention and ensure superior customer experience
  • Maintains accurate sales records and prepares sales and activity reports
  • Attends out-of-office meetings with customers regularly and collaborates with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels
  • Stays abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Comcast Business Services

Requirements

  • 5-7 Years relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred; Comcast may consider coursework and/or extensive related professional experience)
  • In-depth knowledge of Network Design and MAN technologies & designs including DSx, OC-x, WDM
  • Knowledge of Ethernet and Internet Technologies, Functionality & Services
  • Knowledge of Voice Network Technologies (including VoIP)
  • Knowledge of Data Networking Technologies and services (LAN, MAN, WAN, VPN) and Networking Protocols (emphasis on Layers 1, 2, & 3)
  • Familiarity with Customer Premise Equipment (voice & data)
  • Understanding of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts and E-rate Contracting Processes and Procedures
  • Experience delivering face-to-face sales presentations and generating leads via cold calling, canvassing, referrals and partner relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, presenting, persuading and negotiating
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedules and overtime as necessary
