About the role

  • Lead the Client/Sales Engineering teams selling Comcast High Capacity Ethernet Networks, Internet, Video and Advanced Voice based services to Enterprise/Metro E, Mid-Market and National Accounts
  • Manage a team including exempt and non-exempt employees and provide subject matter guidance
  • Develop processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and improve sales effectiveness
  • Facilitate collaboration between the sales engineering team, National Engineering and Technical Operations (NETO)
  • Manage external equipment vendor relationships to elevate field technical teams' knowledge
  • Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Comcast in the marketplace
  • Assist in development and meeting of departmental budget
  • Work nights and weekends, variable schedules and overtime as necessary
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • 7-10 Years relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or combination of coursework and experience
  • Experience leading and developing sales engineering teams
  • Subject matter expertise in Comcast Business products and services (High Capacity Ethernet, Internet, Video, Advanced Voice)
  • Experience managing exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures to improve sales effectiveness
  • Experience managing external equipment vendor relationships
  • Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies
  • Ability to assist in development and meeting of departmental budget
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance

  • Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan
