Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of data infrastructure
Build and operate scalable, reliable, and secure data platforms
Partner with data engineering, analytics, product, and business teams
Define and execute the long-term vision for the company’s data platform
Establish standards, principles, and roadmaps for data infrastructure
Oversee the design and evolution of scalable data pipelines and storage systems
Ensure high availability, performance, cost efficiency, and security of data systems
Establish robust data quality, lineage, and observability practices
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of data platform engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in data engineering, platform engineering, or related fields
5+ years in leadership roles managing engineering teams
Proven experience building and scaling modern data platforms in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Deep knowledge of data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, lakehouse patterns)
Experience with distributed processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink)
Strong understanding of data orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Dagster), storage, and streaming systems
Familiarity with data observability, quality, and governance tools
Bachelor's Degree
Relevant Work Experience 10 Years +
