About the role
- Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects
- Establish project objectives, scope and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Manage procurement process - RFP’s, bid evaluations, contract negotiations and vendor selection
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and resource allocations
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with landlord work letters, building codes, and safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess project progress
- Maintain effective communication with project team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business
- 7+ years of relevant experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools and cost estimation software
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices
