About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Preparation, validation and analysis of monthly reporting, forecasts and budgets, and deriving recommendations for action and market trends
Analysis of financial performance including variance analysis and development of measures to ensure company targets are met
Further development, optimization and automation of reporting and financial/commercial processes
Advising management and the individual business units
Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in economics/business administration or an equivalent qualification with a focus on controlling, finance and/or accounting
Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an agency environment or the advertising/media industry, and solid knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), controlling tools and DATEV
Structured, goal- and implementation-oriented working style with a hands-on mentality
Entrepreneurial, analytical and strategic thinking and acting, with a high level of personal responsibility and results orientation
Strong communication and negotiation skills combined with cooperation and assertiveness
High reliability, proactivity, flexibility and a capacity for innovation
