About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate business data and conduct analyses and reporting to identify challenges and opportunities
Provide solutions to complex business problems using quantitative analysis methodology, including data, cost and benefit, and process measurement analysis
Lead cross-functional initiatives supporting underwriting strategy, credit policy, system enhancements, and operational improvements from requirements through implementation and production readiness
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for innovation
Support implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
Assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring integration across teams and business units and alignment with organizational strategic goals
Lead User Acceptance Testing activities, including test strategy, defect management, data validation, production verification, and implementation readiness
Use comprehensive knowledge of company operations to develop a forward-looking focus for the business

Requirements

What you’ll need

7-10 years of experience in business and operational strategy, planning and analysis, systems implementation, or project delivery
Subject matter expertise within a business area or specialization, including understanding interrelationships among disciplines
Extensive experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and business solutions
Expert knowledge of data querying, data validation, business process analysis, and solution evaluation
Strong SQL experience, including complex data analysis, root cause investigation, and business outcome validation
Advanced problem resolution skills, including determining root cause, scope, and scale of issues
Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
Advanced leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Expert project management skills for leading large-scope projects or initiatives and working with diverse internal and external contacts
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
Experience with TSYS platforms and credit card processing systems preferred
Experience in Agile environments using Azure DevOps, user stories, backlog management, and acceptance criteria
