About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and deliver technical solutions utilizing the automation tool PEGA for Branch Operations that align with complex business requirements.
Lead technical discovery efforts by partnering with stakeholders to translate functional needs into workflow-driven PEGA application enhancements.
Utilize advanced knowledge of the organization's technology infrastructure and specific software applications to guide Branch Operations department through the implementation of enterprise-wide technology changes.
Manage existing applications and automations by monitoring system performances and resolve high-priority production issues.
Serve as a senior technical advisor and mentor to junior developers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Expert knowledge of software development best practices in accordance with the Automation Center of Excellence guardrail document or Information Technology Infrastructure Library
Extensive experience working with application development platforms (e.g., Pega, Maven, JAVA, etc.)
Extensive experience in programming with "low-code" or "no code" software applications
Extensive experience in developing and testing software
Extensive experience demonstrating the ability to research, compile, and document program procedures and processes related to production support and maintenance
Ability to analyze technical issues to recommend, develop and/or implement strategies and achieve objectives
Extensive experience in communicating complex technical issues to non-technical audiences
Extensive experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
Extensive experience in leading collaborative work teams
Extensive experience in leading projects and/or initiatives large in scope
Extensive experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
Participate in mandatory Navy Federal standards and policy training, including information security, testing, knowledge management, records information management and enterprise Architecture Review Board standards
Successfully complete required training, assessments and certifications to learn core principles of the citizen development application development platforms
Advanced skills resolving conflicting requests and meeting changing requirements
Expert research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Expert skill interpreting and synthesizing large amounts of information
Expert skill following, interpreting and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices and regulations
