Assistant Vice President, Digital Payment Operations

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- To manage and direct the Digital Payment Operation in the Savings & Membership department
- Responsible for non-card payment operations, including ACH Originations & Disputes, Funds Services Disbursement and Funds Services Systems
- Assist in leading functional areas and ensuring partnerships which support Navy Federal's goals and strategic objectives
- Direct report to the SVP, Digital Payments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in leading, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling a corporate level business operation
- Significant experience with change management processes that demonstrate skills in producing results and achieving objectives consistent with the strategic objectives of an organization
- Ability to develop strategies to address highly complex and sensitive business issues
- Ability to establish effective policies and procedures
- Significant experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors
- Significant experience demonstrating thought-leadership, initiative-taking, decision-making and creativity solving business problems
- Significant experience managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
- Significant experience supervising and leading professional employees
- Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills
- Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced skill in results-oriented leadership in a challenging environment
- Expert skill leading with diplomacy and tact while maintaining appropriate assertiveness and persistence
- Advanced skill to influence, negotiate and persuade to reach agreeable exchange and positive outcomes
- Expert skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- **Desired Qualifications **
- Significant experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Advanced knowledge of Navy Federal's functions, philosophy, operations, and organizational objectives
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
