- The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional partners and must be able to independently navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and drive solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Problem Solving & Critical Thinking
- Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking with a passion for untangling complex, ambiguous problems
- Significant experience in issue resolution, including root cause analysis and assessing scope, scale, and risk
- Comfort operating in gray areas with incomplete or evolving information
- Strong curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Credit card and/or lending domain knowledge
- Prior project or delivery experience supporting technology or operational initiatives
- Extensive experience with system implementations and/or UAT testing
- Agile delivery experience
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities independently and within a team environment
- Ability to use effective elicitation techniques to gather information at the appropriate level of detail and represent stakeholder needs
- Experience working with project teams to plan, coordinate, and roll out software changes/releases
- Ability to obtain required approvals on schedule and support production transitions
- Experience researching, compiling, and documenting data, business processes, and workflows
- Experience designing and documenting technical solutions aligned to business and functional requirements
- Experience partnering with business units and vendors to improve procedures, resolve issues, and implement initiatives
- Ability to analyze information, develop conclusions, and present recommendations to management
- Experience reporting team or workstream progress to leadership to support prioritization and capacity planning
- Experience leading project teams and resolving highly technical or complex issues
- Ability to lead, guide, and mentor less experienced staff
- Experience representing the business unit in identifying, analyzing, and communicating system solutions
- Demonstrated ability to provide consulting and support services to internal customers, including requirements gathering and outcome definition
- Hands-on experience in underwriting and/or loan officer roles
