About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide independent data science, machine learning, and analytical insights using member, financial, and organizational data to support mission critical decision making for various areas of the organization.
Understand business needs and identify opportunities for new products, services, and process optimization to meet business objectives through the use of cutting-edge data science.
Create descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models and insights to drive impact across the organization.
Conduct work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
Design, develop, and evaluate moderately complex predictive models and advanced algorithms.
Partner within the organization and across the enterprise in support of completion of model development and annual financial planning activities.
Develop, maintain, and manage reporting, dashboards, data models and analytical results. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of experience in exploratory data analysis
Strong understanding of business and operating environment
Statistics, data mining, aggregation, reconciliation and visualization
Programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics
SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Scala, AWS
Tableau, Power BI or related data visualization tools
Model lifecycle execution
Technical writing
Data storytelling and technical presentation skills
