About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to leadership via dashboards and reports.
- Analyze business problems and issues using business intelligence tools that incorporate data from internal and external sources.
- Work independently to interpret and analyze complex business challenges that have a significant impact on the function or branch.
- Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources, including structured and unstructured data sets, to drive insights into business performance.
- Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations (e.g., charts, dashboards, heat maps) in order to support business decisions
- Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
- Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives.
- Communicate findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance.
- Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field
- 7-10 years of experience in big data analysis and business intelligence reporting
- Subject matter expert within business area/specialization with understanding of interrelationships of different disciplines
- Expert skill using with business intelligence applications and/or cloud services
- Expert knowledge of reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors
- Expert skill using statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis
- Advanced skill with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R
- Expert knowledge of reporting/dashboarding best practices and data research and root cause analysis techniques
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-makers

- Expert knowledge of data integration, cleaning and validation techniques
- Advanced research skills in the ability to complete data research, business research, reporting/dashboarding best practices research, root cause analysis, needs assessment
