Responsible for supporting the operation of the risk function by extracting, querying, evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting data-driven insights related to risks of varying complexity
Identify and implement approaches and solutions to mitigate risks
Provide analytical insights, reporting, and recommendations to management based on this knowledge base
Solve a range of problems with increasing scope and complexity by leveraging data, metrics, querying, and analytical techniques
Collaborate with management and personnel to optimize risk assessment scope development

Requirements

Basic understanding of business and operating environment
Knowledge and understanding of risk-based auditing techniques and methodologies
Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations, company policies, and industry best practices
Experience with project management skills
Knowledge of operational and regulatory risk controls concepts and practices
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Auditing, or related field or equivalent combination of training, education and experience
Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience with demonstrated experience in querying and analyzing large datasets, developing reports, and translating data into actionable insights (desired)
Experience using data analytics and business intelligence tools and querying languages to extract, analyze, and report on data, such as SQL-based querying, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or similar), and modern analytics or data platforms
