About the role

  • Plan, manage, and direct the operations of Navy Federal Investment Services, overseeing team growth and territory optimization.
  • Lead and take ownership of cross-functional committees focused on strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure exceptional member service, maximize operational efficiency, and minimize risks and losses.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor performance standards that impact productivity and quality.
  • Evaluate and optimize the Investment Services unit's work quality, staff performance, systems, processes, and procedures to achieve long and short-term goals.
  • Manage daily activities of professional employees and/or supervisors.
  • Support executive management in developing and executing strategic plans.
  • Act as AVP in the incumbent's absence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of training, education and experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in financial services, investment management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, with demonstrated success in leading teams and driving performance
  • Strong ability to manage multiple teams, ensuring alignment and cohesion in achieving objectives
  • Expertise in managing projects from conception to execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Capacity to analyze diverse data and identify trends to inform decision-making and strategic planning
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas and strategies to various audiences
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies and processes in response to evolving business conditions or challenges
  • Commitment to fostering team growth through training, feedback, and recognizing achievements
