Aid and support the implementation of social media strategies and campaigns to effectively communicate the company's vision, mission, and values.
Support social engagement programs to encourage positive member and prospect interactions, user-generated content (UGC), and testimonials.
Participate in social media campaign plans and editorial calendars, collect and analyze data on performance and effectiveness against campaign goals and department objectives; assist in presenting insights and actionable enhancements to executive leaders.
Assist with brand sponsorship and partnership events strategies and execution.
Assist in the execution of our organic social content; gather assets and upload into Sprinklr, curate content from live event capture, upload and schedule content in Sprinklr.
Bring external perspective and ideas from relevant sources, and stay current with technology, government/policy impacts, industry best practices, and up-to-date competitive insights.
Conduct competitor analysis and monitor trends to identify emerging opportunities or challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand alignment and support for the company's goals.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth execution of social media campaigns.
Tasks/assignments may include but are not limited to supporting our brand awareness social media efforts, organic social presence, sports partnerships, and local community events. Explore community engagement opportunities and new creative ways we can engage with our members, fans/followers.
Provide support to the Marketing Department’s Social Media Team; depending on the level of expertise and prior experience, will own small projects and assist strategists with larger projects.
Support marketing strategy and initiatives to help members, business units, and the credit union achieve goals.
Assist and collaborate with various levels of Marketing staff to accomplish tasks/assignments.
Maintain professionalism in all interactions, placing member service as a priority.
Provide comprehensive day-to-day operational support.
Assist in ensuring governance policies for all social media platforms are followed and adhere to the rules of engagement
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of social media channels to include but not limited to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Pinterest, Reddit).
Understanding of social platform specific best practices and trends.
Working experience in developing and managing social media campaigns and related budgets for brands, student organizations, and other internships.
Effective skill with social media management systems (SMMS)
Interest in financial institution communications, brand strategy, partnership and sponsorship awareness, and community management
Advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
