About the role
- Assist in the coordination of Security Champions meetings, training sessions, and workshops
- Maintain schedules and communication channels for program activities
- Create and distribute program materials, such as newsletters, updates, and training documentation
- Support community engagement through feedback sessions and internal communications to promote the Security Champions Program
- Collect and analyze data on program participation and effectiveness; generate reports and presentations to track program progress
- Identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement based on collected data
- Help develop educational materials (guides, best practices, case studies) and create engaging content for internal platforms
- Manage program documentation and tools (databases, learning management systems) and provide administrative support to the program manager
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university with anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity policies and best practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Familiarity with project management tools
- Experience with data analysis tools
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eager to learn
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to address stakeholder needs professionally and empathetically
