Paralegal

• Support the end-to-end commercial loan closing process: oversee loan file assembly, documentation, funding, and portfolio management
• Act as subject matter expert and key point of contact for internal stakeholders, external vendors, and legal counsel
• Handle complex assignments, maintain acceptable risk levels, and ensure first-in-class member experience
• Team support and leadership: assist leadership, act on leadership’s behalf, mentor team members, and support audits and operational risk reviews
• Loan processing & documentation: manage pre-close, closing, funding, and booking for CRE, BLOC, SBA, forbearances; draft, review, and validate complex loan documents; perform due diligence and review title insurance
• Compliance & quality control: conduct quality control reviews, support post-closing audits, perfect collateral liens, and ensure proper recording
• Systems & reporting: serve as SME for policies, procedures, and systems; assist in reports, process improvement, and training material development
