About the role

  • Develop mechanical components and assemblies from first concepts to ramp-up of serial production.
  • Own parts and assembly groups within development projects and support the execution of mechanical concepts together with senior engineers.
  • Develop and validate design concepts through targeted prototyping and iterative design reviews.
  • Work closely with production engineering and other teams in Development & Operations to ensure manufacturable, robust solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (e.g., Techniker), plus early professional experience or high potential experience as a early career engineer.
  • 3+ years as a Mechanical Engineer working on developing products.
  • Experience working with CAD systems and creating parts, drawings and assemblies.
  • Solid technical understanding and basic knowledge of manufacturing methods and materials.
  • A hands-on, collaborative and proactive mindset, with an interest in building and testing real hardware products.
