About the role

  • You will design, implement and maintain software tools to support the development and testing of electrical systems
  • You will take ownership of our Electrical Engineering and Production Tooling codebase, toolchain, and development process
  • You will work closely with other software teams to build automated testing tools which are used by our Support, Quality and Production teams
  • You will get the chance to participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to other team members

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python and Linux
  • Excellent Python skills with a track record of successful and maintainable deliverables
  • Ability to understand and discuss electrical systems and architecture
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively in an international team environment.
  • Additionally if you have:
  • Worked with Docker for building and testing
  • Created UI’s with a web framework (flask, html, js)
  • Crafted a CI/CD pipeline with e.g. Github actions
  • Built test and control software for Hardware in the loop (HIL) setups
