About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure all environments are managed and maintained to meet service level agreements
  • Administer and maintain Oracle Fusion applications and databases
  • Implement security measures and access controls
  • Support change control and testing processes for application system modifications
  • Proactively monitor and maintain Linux and/or Windows system environments
  • Provide responsive technical assistance and document configuration to support processes
  • Work with functional teams to ensure optimal operations and uptime of application environments
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
  • Develop strong working relationships with third-party vendors
  • Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks
  • Resolve issues quickly and communicate proactively with stakeholders
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform improvements, patches, and reconfigurations
  • Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures, and training plans for system administration
  • Provide backup administration support to teammates
  • Provide after-hours support
  • Administer platforms including Microsoft SaaS, Atlassian SaaS, Oracle Fusion and ORMB, Dynamics D365, Nintex/K2, SmartConnect, Linux and Oracle technology stacks, Automic, Informatica, Qlik, Crystal, nPrint, privacy analytics, and data cataloging platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in Application and Server Administration required
  • 3 years’ working experience required
  • 5 years’ experience in Application and Server Administration preferred
  • Hands-on technical experience maintaining servers
  • Enterprise Windows Administration, including Certificate Services, Web Services, Provisioning, and Security
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Agile frameworks
  • Hands-on enterprise application and hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Working technical knowledge of networks, PCs, Windows, and Red Hat operating systems
  • Working knowledge of Shell Scripting, YAML, Bash, Python, PowerShell, Batch, object-oriented programming, HTML5, and CSS
  • Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database scripting concepts
  • Working knowledge of release automation processes
  • Knowledge of application support methodologies for M365, Dynamics Cloud applications, Great Plains, Atlassian Suite, Informatica, Automic, QlikView, QlikSense, Alation, and Qlik Replicate
  • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws, including SSAE16, HIPPA, and URAC
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
