Senior Paralegal

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports Navitus, Lumicera, and their subsidiaries by managing licensing processes.
- Drafts legal documents and templates, manages document templates and corporate legal records.
- Performs records and legal research and prepares correspondence under general supervision.
- Identifies, reviews, and interprets legislation and regulatory environment changes impacting Navitus.
- Provides support and analysis related to applicable regulations.
- Conducts legal search on relevant laws, statutes, and regulations, prepares memorandums and action plans.
- Prepares legal documents, such as contracts for review, approval, and use by attorneys.
- Files legal documents and correspondence in digital and physical filing systems.
- Ensures effective indexing and filing of legal documents.
- Researches and analyzes statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, contracts, and legal codes.
- Supports attorneys by communicating and obtaining information, following up on delegated assignments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required.
- A paralegal educational certificate is preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant corporate paralegal experience with a governmental agency, law firm and/or in-house legal department required.
- Ability to type with speed and accuracy required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
