About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with GSM leadership to align people strategies with business objectives
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, contracts, workplace policies, WHS, and flexible work arrangements
  • Develop and maintain compliant HR policies, procedures, and employment documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement, leverage HR technology to enhance efficiency
  • Partner with Group Compensation & Benefits to maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs
  • Support payroll processes across multiple countries
  • Partner with leaders to identify workforce and capability needs, develop effective talent acquisition strategies
  • Conduct training needs analyses and deliver learning, leadership development, and capability-building initiatives
  • Partner with the WHS Australasia team to ensure workplace health and safety risks are effectively managed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8–10+ years of progressive HR generalist experience
  • Proven success operating in complex, matrixed and geographically dispersed organizations
  • Strong expertise across workforce planning, employee relations, organizational development, talent acquisition, compensation and performance management
  • Demonstrated experience supporting leaders through change and transformation initiatives
  • Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation and conflict-resolution capabilities
  • Experience supporting multiple countries and navigating varying employment legislation and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and translate insights into action
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
