- Duration: This is a contract position supporting design of auxiliary systems for a Small Modular Reactor. Duration is not known at this time.\n
- Responsibilities:\n - Design electrical distribution and control systems for auxiliary support: I&C power systems, emergency power backup (battery, diesel), lighting, communications.\n - Develop detailed electrical schematics and load analysis.\n - Ensure robust grounding, redundancy, and compliance with nuclear-grade electrical standards.\n - Coordinate with civil and mechanical disciplines for integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.\n
- 5+ years designing electrical systems for nuclear or critical infrastructure.\n
- Experience with power distribution, UPS, emergency power, and I&C systems.\n
- Knowledge of IEEE, NEC, and nuclear-grade electrical design standards.\n
- Licensed Professional Engineer\n
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.\n
