About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • - Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues
  • - Troubleshoot complex technical problems across systems, networking, cybersecurity, and vessel ICT environments
  • - Act as the main technical point of contact for customers and manage technical expectations
  • - Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure smooth communication
  • - Evaluate customer feedback and support continuous service improvement
  • - Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
  • - Liaise with internal teams to ensure effective service execution
  • - Conduct audits of systems, services, and inventory
  • - Research new technologies and propose improvements
  • - Supervise system updates, patches, and security controls
  • - Manage planned and unplanned system activities
  • - Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems and applications
  • - Coordinate project executions with SysAdmin team
  • - Oversee data protection processes and ensure adherence to best practices
  • - Follow ITIL-aligned practices for IT support operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • - Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar technical or service delivery role
  • - Advanced knowledge of Windows systems integration (domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, application servers, etc.) for a medium on-prem environment
  • - Experience with peripherals like NAS, APs, printers, switches etc.
  • - Strong understanding of networking and cybersecurity
  • - Experience with IT service management and ITIL practices
  • - Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • - Customer-oriented mindset
  • **Great to have**
  • - Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • - Vendor certifications (Microsoft, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco)
  • - Security certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP or equivalent)
  • - ITIL, PRINCE2, or similar certifications
  • - Familiarity with maritime ICT environments
