About the role
- Leverage technical knowledge and analytical skills to gather, clean, and analyze complex datasets
- Employ statistical techniques to interpret and validate data trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver insights that support contract objectives
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, dashboards, and interactive visualizations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Prepare detailed analytical reports and present results, recommendations, and key metrics
- Identify gaps and opportunities to improve decision-making through data
- Ensure quality assurance of data visualizations, dashboards, reports, and deliverables
- Adhere to data security and privacy protocols and establish data governance practices
- Track all assigned tasks and provide regular updates to the team leader
- Become proficient in AGILE/SCRUM methodology and relevant platforms (Advana, Jupiter)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline)
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, data mining, or business intelligence
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain relevant DOD clearance
- Willingness to travel approx. 25% within the continental United States
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, VBA, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik
- Intermediate proficiency in data cleaning, transformation, and statistical analysis
- Demonstrated experience applying descriptive statistics (hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, simple linear regression)
- Familiarity with AGILE/SCRUM methodologies
- Experience or willingness to learn Advana and Jupiter platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
