💰 $115,000 - $160,000 per year
About the role
- Create and implement people and culture initiatives to drive employee morale, strengthen our culture, and be known as a top employer of choice internally and externally
- Provide employee support through the employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee morale, talent development, and offboarding
- Develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures, prepare and maintain employee handbook, and ensure compliance across state, federal, and industry requirements
- Perform benefit administration to include managing our benefit relationships, coordinating with our benefits broker for selection and implementation, identify new and innovative total rewards programs, and provide day-to-day benefit support for employees
- Conduct annual compensation analysis to make recommendations for annual reviews, new hires, and conduct internal audits
- Manage employment related issues including performance management, employee and leadership coaching, investigations, discipline, and terminations
- Support succession & workforce planning a to ensure the organization has the right talent pipeline in place, identifying critical roles, assessing readiness, and anticipating future staffing needs
- Build best practices, establish standard operating procedures, and measure success of people and culture initiatives through employee feedback and analytics while continuously seeking process improvement through the use of technology and AI
- Support internal employee communication initiatives
- Own and manage the HRIS platforms and other HR technology
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years related HR experience, at least 1 of these years in a strategic role
- Small business experience required
- Government contracting experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations
- Experience in creating, implementing and administering people and culture programs
- Must have demonstrated success in operational and strategic HR support
- Exceptional project and personnel management skills
- Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
- Proficiency in MS Suite including Word, Excel and Power Point is essential
- Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management team and maintain sensitive data and information
- Bachelor's degree required
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
