Accountant

• Nautilus Solar Energy’s (NSE) Staff Accountant responsible for analyzing and reconciling account information for Nautilus
• Remote full-time position reporting to the Portfolio Accounting Manager; travel less than 5%
• Perform general ledger processing and prepare/enter month-end and other journal entries
• Prepare work papers and various reports for internal accounting and auditing
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
• Prepare monthly management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives; assist with Budget vs. Actual variance follow-up
• Assist with annual external audit and prepare assigned schedules
• Contribute to special projects as assigned
• Review and reconcile accounts
• Monitor portfolio cash position and prepare monthly and quarterly cash distribution calculations
• Prepare quarterly financial reports for Partnership investors
• Aid in standardization and documentation of accounting policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned to support the accounting department
