About the role

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment including job postings, screening, interviews coordination, and onboarding.
  • Administer payroll preparation, leave management, and employee benefits in compliance with Malaysian labour laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in SQL payroll system and personnel files.
  • Support HR documentation including offer letters, confirmation letters, disciplinary letters, and employment contracts.
  • Coordinate training programs, internal workshops, and external learning initiatives.
  • Monitor probation reviews and performance appraisal cycles.
  • Identify training gaps and recommend appropriate development programs.
  • Serve as a key contact point for employee inquiries and workplace matters.
  • Handle basic disciplinary matters and grievance processes.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace morale and culture.
  • Organize staff activities, annual dinners, and engagement campaigns.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently across departments.
  • Monitor compliance with Malaysian Employment Act and related regulations.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and SOPs.
  • Support audit preparation and labour-related documentation.
  • Participate in HR-related projects and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Support implementation of corporate HR standards and digitalisation efforts.
  • Perform other HR-related tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HR systems.
  • Hands-on experience in payroll calculations, including for industrial workers.
  • Proven ability to work independently and handle confidential matters with professionalism.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with good problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
