About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the delivery, embedding and continual improvement of Operational Resilience across NatWest Markets
Work with business, technology and functional teams to integrate resilience considerations into decision-making and business change activities
Understand complex business processes, products, services and dependencies
Analyse information from multiple sources and articulate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
Provide Operational Resilience guidance, feedback and challenge on proposed designs for new or changing products, processes and IT services
Collaborate with the team to provide best-practice insights and assess resilience using analysis, experience and judgement
Act as a trusted adviser and establish strong relationships with business and functional leads
Support the development of resilience plans and ensure they remain fit for purpose

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong understanding of NatWest Markets or experience gained within a Markets business
Strong influencing, communication and collaboration skills
Ability to operate effectively at all levels
Good understanding of financial services
Experience in IT or operational risk management
Strong understanding of products, services, processes and operating models in NatWest Markets or another Markets business
Good knowledge of key technology services and service delivery and management disciplines
Excellent understanding of operational resilience disciplines and regulatory expectations
Good knowledge of risk management and controls in financial services
