About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Actively support a domain and the wider organisation as a subject matter expert in a security-related field
- Ensure security implications of the backlog are understood in the right way to build security into design
- Make sure decisions are based on robust data, return on investment, and value measures
- Encourage the identification of ideas and drive delivery of initiatives that will reduce cost and simplify the Group
- Collaborate with Feature teams and participate in store refinement, sprint planning and retrospective sessions
- Establish a culture of innovation and strategic thinking that provides knowledge of the latest developments in your area of specialism
- Communicate developments in your area of specialism and their impact on the organisation
- Build relationships with colleagues and third-parties to ensure decisions create long-term value
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience of, or a willingness to learn, risk management frameworks
- Experience of setting risk appetites and a background in defining risk policy controls
- Knowledge of one, or more, security subject areas would also be advantageous
- An understanding of how to complete benchmarking to peers and industry standards
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, translating technical issues into business terms
- A good understanding of Agile methodologies
