About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Actively support a domain and the wider organisation as a subject matter expert in a security-related field
  • Ensure security implications of the backlog are understood in the right way to build security into design
  • Make sure decisions are based on robust data, return on investment, and value measures
  • Encourage the identification of ideas and drive delivery of initiatives that will reduce cost and simplify the Group
  • Collaborate with Feature teams and participate in store refinement, sprint planning and retrospective sessions
  • Establish a culture of innovation and strategic thinking that provides knowledge of the latest developments in your area of specialism
  • Communicate developments in your area of specialism and their impact on the organisation
  • Build relationships with colleagues and third-parties to ensure decisions create long-term value

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience of, or a willingness to learn, risk management frameworks
  • Experience of setting risk appetites and a background in defining risk policy controls
  • Knowledge of one, or more, security subject areas would also be advantageous
  • An understanding of how to complete benchmarking to peers and industry standards
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, translating technical issues into business terms
  • A good understanding of Agile methodologies
