About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Actively support a domain and the wider organisation as a subject matter expert in a security-related field
Ensure security implications of the backlog are understood in the right way to build security into design
Make sure decisions are based on robust data, return on investment, and value measures
Encourage the identification of ideas and drive delivery of initiatives that will reduce cost and simplify the Group
Collaborate with Feature teams and participate in store refinement, sprint planning and retrospective sessions
Establish a culture of innovation and strategic thinking that provides knowledge of the latest developments in your area of specialism
Communicate developments in your area of specialism and their impact on the organisation
Build relationships with colleagues and third-parties to ensure decisions create long-term value

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience of, or a willingness to learn, risk management frameworks
Experience of setting risk appetites and a background in defining risk policy controls
Knowledge of one, or more, security subject areas would also be advantageous
An understanding of how to complete benchmarking to peers and industry standards
The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, translating technical issues into business terms
A good understanding of Agile methodologies
