About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Developing and managing investment models and portfolios in accordance with the strategic and tactical asset allocation.
Ensuring investment models and portfolios are compliant with legal, regulatory and structural restrictions.
Representing portfolio management in shaping our investment product offering, driving innovation and modernisation.
Identifying suitable fund and security level changes to investment models and portfolios.
Ensuring investment models and portfolios remain in line with the portfolio risk budget and performance objectives.
Acting as a key spokesperson for the team, clearly articulating portfolio positioning, performance and the Coutts house view to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience and market leading knowledge of investment model management and construction.
Experience of managing multi-asset investment portfolios.
Proven experience of discretionary client portfolio management.
Strong understanding of markets and good knowledge of the funds universe.
A track record of delivering investment performance through fund and security selection.
A collaborative mindset with proven ability to work cross functionally across investment, product and client coverage teams.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of the UCITS framework and regulatory environment.
